„Anarchy and Source Code — What does the Free Software Movement have to do with Anarchism?“ is my article “Anarchie und Quellcode” in the German „Open Source Jahrbuch 2005“ (Open Source Annual 2005) translated to English. The article is more or less an abstract of my book „Die Anarchie der Hacker“ (The Anarchy of Hackers).
„Anarquía y el código fuente – ¿Qué tiene que ver el movimiento de libre software con el anarquismo?“ es mi artículo para la revista „Open Source Jahrbuch 2005“. El artículo es una suerte de resúmen de mi libro „Die Anarchie der Hacker“, que se dedica a las siguientes preguntas:
¿Qué tiene de anarquista la ética hacker? ¿Porqué se autodenomina como anarquista Richard Stallman, una de las figuras destacadas del movimiento de software libre? No debemos imaginarnos los anarquistas de la software libre bajo el esterotipo de unos locos extremistas despeinados, de mirada loca y con una bomba en cada mano. Todo lo contrario, en vez del caos, Stallman propone un nuevo orden de la propiedad intelectual visto desde una ética de hacker: el acceso al saber debe ser libre, descentralizado, antiburocrático y antiautoritario.

„The ‚Lost Generation‘ of the Music Industry“ is a short article about the question: Who does the music industry actually call the „lost generation“? In spite of all lamentations this „Generation D“ is not really lost. The young customers‘ habits of consumption have changed, but the music industry tries to adapt the customers to their business modell, instead of adapting their products to the customers. This paper is the translation of my article „Die ‚verlorene Generation‘ der Musikindustrie“.
